Great location. Tired rooms, but good for the price in the offseason. Clean room, with small kitchenette. Loved being right on the ocean path. Parking at $15 seemed high. We LOVED the ice cream sandwiches from The Baked Bear. Village Thai was also delicious.

I hesitate to share our experience for fear our favorite beach cottage won’t be available for our next visit! The location of the Beach Cottages is perfect! They have parking, so that is easy. The ambience is of ‘long ago’ 50s/60s beach …

Found this spot unexpectedly while looking for January beach accommodations. We had a cute one-bedroom unit that was very clean and ridiculously accessible to Pacific Beach just through the courtyard. The staff was more than accommodating; offering text communication and helpful with many of the courtyard amenities. Can’t wait to stay again!

I have been staying at the Beach Cottages for a few years. Probably 5 stays since 2020? Great location! The staff is friendly and helpful and you can’t beat the access to the beach. Steps from the beach and right in the heart of the action in PB. The rooms are large and although it’s an older property it’s very clean! I also love that they have secure parking that doesn’t break the bank. I always stay for a week and enjoy a discount for that. I recommend the Cottages to friends and family every time I’m asked my go to spot on my annual visit to SD. Looking forward to another stay in a couple of weeks.

We have been going here for almost 10 years and are never disappointed. The cottages are clean, well stocked with essentials and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Great location right on the beach. Was a little concerned about noise at first. Our room was right above the bar/restaurant downstairs. By 10pm, it was quiet! Other than a few late night partiers walking around. Left the balcony door open for a nice ocean breeze. Love ❤️

My family and I just went here for a week long vacation and we will be back! These cottages were so cute and so fun! We had one that faced the beach and it is so worth the price just for that mind blowing view everyday. The rooms are a little outdated, the shower has no water pressure, and the bottom of our stove was broken so when we used the oven the heat went through the whole place but other than that it was perfect. Housekeeping was so nice and always made sure we had enough pillows and towels. The patios are spacious and accommodating. We met some great people and had such a good time. There is also a private parking lot here which is so nice considering parking anywhere is almost impossible in a larger vehicle. The cottages are close to dining, shopping, scooter rental, and more. There is a small grocery store named Ralph’s just a 5 min walk away which was so convenient. We will be back!

My husband knows how much we love the beach, so he makes sure to book a place close enough to walk too. We didn't spend too much time here other than the coming to sleep. It was perfect because there was always something in walking distance. The pier, places to eat, bars to hang out at, and gifts shops. Perfect vacation spot.
